Of Food, Boredom and TEYL-ians.

Woke up quite late today around 7.30 a.m. I had to wake up this early because we had ‘Hari Integrasi’. Basically it’s the day when they replace the Ko-K (kokurikulum) with some stupid activity. Last semester was the ‘Konsert DiRaja’. This year it’s the aerobic jumping and working out sessions. I mean it was really interesting as we get to move out lazy bums to the tunes of some really unfamiliar songs. I walked to the ‘padang’ with Shah and Fahmi. The morning sun was really enjoying and i felt the sunrays showering upon my skin and it made me feel wonderful. *blabbering*(>____<)

As we were walking, saw tonnes of people walking to the ‘padang’ also. The best part was everyone was wearing white shirt and black pants. It was the official attire to Ko-K class. Suddenly it occurred to me that we were at a funeral or something like that. Only the missing thing is the casket and the flowers. I wonder is it like this when my late Sultan Johor passed away? I bet I would be really crowded and kind of sad.

The Late Almarhum Sultan Johor

Anywho, arriving at the ‘padang’ and saw many people lining up in their respective group. For me it was Khidmat Masyarakat Group C.I found my mates and did the routine “hye”, “morning” and bantering. Then I was in charge of giving my mates their mineral water and bread for breakfast all of the sudden. I guess this is what you get if you have a big mouth like mine. (^(0)^) .

After the breakfast, then it’s off to the aerobic sessions. It’s basically a bunch of middle age women on the stage strutting their stuff while aerobic-ing. It was damn funny as while the women i.e. aunties strut their stuffs, my mates did their fair share. It was like they were dancing freestyle to the tune. And come to think of it, it’s like in those dance movies where you have the street dancers dancing in circle and one person will come to the middle and dance. They were making noise and truthfully it was damn hilarious. People were looking and pointing at us!

Honestly looking back at it, this is why i really love my mates all 76 of them. We really bonded and loud. Hell I’m proud to call myself a TEYL-ians!! English teacher RAWKS!! (^___^)

Ok enough about that. After the ‘Integrasi’ the three of us went to have our breakfast at the Pusat Sukan. We ate the usual, fried rice, fried noodle and curry puffs. Then off back to the room. I was literally dreading the time in my room. It was stuffy, hot and not a good site to sleep. But I had no choice but to sleep as there was nothing else to do. If I were to go out, I will definitely spend lot of money and thus decreasing the amount of expenditure that I need to use throughout the semester.

Then around 4.30 Fahmi came and told me to get ready to go to Pn. Majdah’s house. Got ready, the off to her house. The best part was we cooked fried meehun, and then did potato salad and ‘jemput-jemput’. It was heaven!! Ate and ate and ate till my heart content. She and her family were and is always welcoming a trait that made the special to my heart. Wan, Abg amir and Aiman are those people who will let their guest feel at home with them. May Allah shower and bless them with health wealth and happiness.

Went back around 10 p.m and took my shower and here I am onlining in my faculty. Tomorrow I got 8.am class until 11.am class. *dreading* I’m really lazy to go to the class. It’s mass lecture and there is no different if I’m there or not. I’m going to sleep on it whether I should go or not. Lastly Good Night and Sweet Dreams.

For A, I still need YOU.
